Allsports article on the Canadian Junior Hockey team having a total melt down in the third period to surrender the gold medal to the Russians. It was a team effort.
Allsports was forced to eat crow because I predicted a Canadian victory.
Full marks have to be given to a Russian team that showed so much character, not only in this game but in all their medal round appearances. They came back from down 3-1 against the Finnish team, came back against the Swedes, so it may be fitting that they can put the Canadians in there with the other victims.
